Great Ormond Street Hospital Patient Pagers

Great Ormond Street Hospital is proud of it’s reputation for excellent patient care. The hospital wanted to improve the waiting experience for patients and offer patients waiting for appointments the opportunity to enjoy a more relaxing atmosphere outside of the confines of waiting areas.

Great Ormond Street Hospital IT department worked with Pager Call Systems to specify a patient call system that would enable patients to be called throughout the hospital site and even in the surrounding cafes and park area.

Pager Call Systems installed a network of transmitters to ensure full coverage of the site with links to the Quiet Call Patient Paging System.

The system uses Pager Call Systems network linked transmitters along with the Quiet Call Ultra Pagers which provides communication throughout the site. The patient call system for waiting rooms means that the whole hospital site is now a waiting area.
